Wired to Connect
Have you ever hungered to go deeper in your relationship with God, or felt stuck in a spiritual rut? Have you tried to read your Bible more and pray more but still struggled to connect in your walk with the Lord?
How do we move forward and experience a deeper relationship with The Lord? In this series based on Gary Thomas’s book Sacred Pathways, we will look at 9 different temperaments that connect in their relationship with God in very different ways. As we explore these different temperaments, you’ll discover new practices and concepts that can help you connect on a deeper level with the Lord.
Built to Last
A four-week study designed for young adults.
When it comes to storms in life, it’s never a question of if they’ll come, but when. So what makes the difference between a life that stands vs one that crumbles?
In Matthew 7:24-27 Jesus closes out his Sermon on the Mount by explaining, “whoever hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.”
In this study we wrestle with deep questions around identity, purpose, and where we derive our value from. Through this four-week series we’ll come to see that building a life that lasts requires four key elements: foundation, framing, finishing, and fortifying.
Cultivate
Welcome to Cultivate, a five-week Bible Study focusing on the parable of the sower in Matthew 13. This study aims to help you cultivate your relationship with Jesus by exploring the different soils in this passage that can help us thrive.
Throughout this study, we'll delve into the passage, inviting you to reflect on essential questions:
What does the soil of my life resemble? Is it prepared to receive God's growth, or does it resist and remain hardened?
What aspects of the Spirit might God be seeking to nurture within me?
What obstacles threaten to hinder the new life God is cultivating in me?
By engaging in this transformative work with God, we can nurture a spiritual journey, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to bear the fruit we yearn for in our walk with Him.
Lenten Reflections
Lent is the 40 days from Ash Wednesday to the Saturday before Easter (not including Sundays) mirroring the 40 days Jesus spent in the wilderness before beginning His public ministry. It serves as a time of preparation and an opportunity for us to deepen in our faith by reflecting on the temptation, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
As you journey through this seven-week study you will be invited to take a deeper dive in your personal faith journey as you consider how God might be inviting you to experience the transformative love of God in your life.
